Every Sunday night we come together and share in:Â
kai (food),
whaanaungatanga (family-like fellowship),
whakamoemititia a te Ihowa Ihu (praise the Lord Jesus)!
Currently we are on a 4-week rotation of kai that we share as part of our fellowship at Cornerstone:
Week 1 = Soup & Buns
Week 2 = Finger Food Snacks
Week 3 = Dessert Night
Week 4 = Bring a meal to share (Pot-Luck)
We are open to all people from every walk of life to join us on a Sunday evening!
We are currently a multi-ethnical, cross-generational church with a united passion for Christ Jesus!
As Elisha and Jaynee have recently welcome their first son into the world, we would love to also provide a space for young families to hear about Jesus as well as share the Gospel with children.
Our worship service is contemporary, with a flow of anglican liturgy that guides us all in praying and exalting God throughout the evening.
Opening with prayer and sung worship, we then share testimony and intercessory prayer. We read God's Word aloud and then share in a sermon. We respond in sung worship before concluding our evening service.
In a movement toward cultural responsiveness and love for the language, Te Reo Maaori is present throughout the service.
